Consolate Appointment

The last day we stayed at the hotel while Judy went to the consulate and presented our paper work. The she called us to say we passed. We packed and checked out of the hotel the next day and went to the consulate for the Sworn-in Ceremony.
The whole swearing-in ceremony is a complete blur to me because I was so sick I thought I was going to die. I think I had some food poisoning at breakfast because I was so nauseated and my head was spinning. So I remember going up a lot escalators and finally going into a big room with lots of families who were also adopting. There we sat down for awhile and I had to run to the bathroom a few times since I had to throw up. Thank goodness I didn't acually throw up but almost. I did take my antibiotic and some zofran earlier. These were both life savors because I swear they helped(and of course I had some help from above because I was praying like crazy to feel better for the plane ride) I started feeling better a few hours later and was not sick on the long airplane ride. So, anyways, back to the swearing-in. We were all told to stand up and she said a bunch of stuff I didn't hear and then we raised our right hand and we were done. Chuck thank goodness took notes, j/k , he was holding Isabella so that would have been impossible. Chuck said they were basically making the adoption official. We raised our hand and repeated after the official person and said we would take care of our baby. Once we were done Isabella was officially ours to keep! Yeah! Pictures in next post!:)
